Masinton Pasaribu Admits Communication Network Explores Opportunities For The Ganjar And Anies Coalition

PDI-P (PDIP) politician Masinton Pasaribu acknowledged that the presidential candidate pair pair number 3 Ganjar-Mahfud had established informal communication with candidate pair number 1 Anies-Muhaimin regarding the coalition opportunity between the two.

"There is formal communication there is informal communication. Yes, first communication is informal, building a common understanding and then it will be formalized. So, we communicate with friends 01," said Masinton on the sidelines of a discussion entitled "So the Palace 'Omons' to the common people", in Jakarta reported by ANTARA, Saturday, January 13.

Masinton said that the high intensity of communication for the winning team of presidential and vice presidential candidates 1 and 3 occurred naturally because they had the same awareness regarding the current condition of democracy.

According to him, the two winning teams, especially those at the "root grass" level, both of them, are trying to maintain and maintain democracy that has been running for 25 years in Indonesia so as not to return to the authoritarian era like the New Order era.

"Well, at the grassroots today, friends 01 and 03 have a common awareness, there must be a common unity to fight for and defend this democracy so as not to return to the era of authoritarianism such as the era of the new order era," he said.

With this similarity of thoughts, Masinton did not rule out the possibility

There will be a coalition between the two pairs of presidential candidates, if the presidential election takes place in two rounds.

"So among grassroots there is a vote to join. Whatever our political spectrum, we must save democracy," he said.
