Meanwhile, the Head of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of East Kotawaringin said, his party had checked the area related to flooded locations. "Indeed, there was a flood of inundation around the Baamang area, such as Jalan Imam Bonjol and Jalan Sampoerna. We carried out an assessment in the field and checked the Mentaya River, while coordinating with related agencies," he said. From the results of checking the Kotim BPBD, a number of roads that were submerged include Jalan Sampoerna Barat RT 36 depth 20 cm, Jalan Sangga Buana depth 35 cm, Jalan Jaya Wijaya depth 10 cm, Jalan Imam Bonjol depth 10 cm, and Jalan Suka Bangsa RT 31 depth 25 cm. In addition to the road, the flood also inundated a number of public facilities, namely three prayer rooms, one madrasah tsanawiyah, one elementary school, and three UMKM stalls. Meanwhile, the number of families affected by the flood is about 45 families (KK). "The community activities are still running smoothly, which are disturbed only in school activities, houses of worship, and the economy of warung owners, "said Multazam.

Based on the BMKG weather forecast, he also appealed to the public to be aware of the increase in water discharge, because there is still the potential for moderate to heavy rain in the Kotim area. around the location," he said.

In this regard, Multazam said that his party had coordinated with the Water Resources, Highways, Construction Development, Public Housing, and Settlement Areas so that normalization or drainage cleaning should be carried out.

Multazam added that the current flood inundation covers the city area, while the northern area of Kotim, which is generally prone to flooding, is still relatively safe, because the intensity of rain in the north has been relatively low in recent times.
