JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Alexander Marwata refuses to think about investigating alleged ethical violations committed by the KPK Supervisory Board. Alex admitted that he did not know about the process.

It is known that two KPK leaders are suspected of violating ethics related to the investigation of alleged corruption involving former Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo. However, it was not detailed who they were.

"I don't know, just ask Dewas," Alexander told reporters at the ACLC KPK building, Rasuna Said, South Jakarta, Thursday, January 11.

He didn't want to say much about the allegation. Alexander just joked, he could be the person in question.

"Maybe I (was reported, ed). I think so," he said.

Previously reported, the KPK Council suspected that other leaders had committed ethical violations while handling the corruption case of former Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo. A number of witnesses have been questioned.

"There are other complaints (about ethical violations of the KPK leadership, ed), which are still being investigated, only clarification, at first," said KPK Supervisory Board member Albertina Ho to reporters at the ACLC Building, Rasuna Said, South Jakarta, Wednesday, January 10.

Albertina has not yet detailed the identity of the head of the anti-corruption commission, which is currently being investigated. However, this process was carried out to follow up on incoming complaints.

This complaint is also different from the ethical violations that ensnared former KPK chairman Firli Bahuri, said Albertina. Although the suspicion is related to the corruption case at the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan).

A number of parties have been questioned by the KPK Council to carry out investigations. They are the inactive Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture Kasdi Subagyono and Syahrul Yasin Limpo.
