Subang Police Reveals Collectors Of Hundreds Of Dogs Sent To Central Java

The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Semarang Polrestabes, Central Java, managed to secure a truck carrying hundreds of dogs heading for Solo, Sunday, January 7, 2024 (ANTARA).

The shipment of hundreds of dogs thwarted by officers in Semarang, Central Java is thought to have come from Subang Regency, West Java. Subang Police conducted investigations and examinations of several witnesses related to the case. The collector with the initials N from Bunihayu, Jalancagak District, Subang Regency, is suspected of being the source of 30 dogs from hundreds of shipments. "After we received information and circulated the news of animal shipments, namely dogs from Subang, we immediately carried out a series of investigations and investigations," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Subang Police, AKP Herman Saputra, Thursday, January 11. Herman said that currently his party had examined several witnesses related to the case of selling dog animals from Subang to the Central Java region. "We have examined several witnesses and those concerned with the case of selling these dog animals, a total of still six witnesses we examined. We are still investigating all of them," he said. Herman explained, from the results of a temporary investigation by the police, the dog animals sold came from a collector with the initials N from the Bunihayu region, Jalancagak District, Subang Regency. According to Herman, out of a total of the hundreds of shipments of dogs in Subang contributed as many as 30 dog animals. "My presence explains from a series of investigations and investigations that we have carried out based on the facts from the owner and the collector, for the animal collectors in Subang only sold 30 dog tails," he explained.

Previously, the Semarang Police Chief, Kombes Irwan Anwar, said that there were reports of truck delivery activists containing 226 dogs with alarming conditions, which were successfully stopped at the Kalikangkung Toll Gate, Semarang, on Saturday at 22.30 WIB. The dogs were then taken to the Semarang Polrestabes for temporary treatment.
