TNI Puspom Detains Three Soldiers Involved In The Curanmor Case

JAKARTA - Three members of the Indonesian Army or Army are suspected of being involved in the embezzlement of hundreds of motorized vehicles found on the Gudbalkir Pusziad, Sidoarjo, East Java. Currently, they have been detained and are in the process of further investigation.

"We have detained these three soldiers, we are conducting further investigations," said Wadan Puspomad Major General TNI Eka Wijaya Permana at Polda Metro Jaya, Wednesday, January 10.

The alleged involvement of the three TNI soldiers began with the Polda Metro Jaya following up on a police or LP report regarding vehicle theft.

From the investigation, Polda Metro Jaya arrested a person with the initials EI. From the suspect's statement, it led to the three soldiers.

The suspect and TNI personnel used the warehouse of the Military Engineer Center as a temporary storage area for hundreds of vehicles suspected of being the result of criminal acts.

Details of the number of vehicles parked at the location are 215 motorcycles and 49 cars.

Regarding the legal process against the three TNI soldiers, Eka has not been able to talk much on the grounds that they are still undergoing intensive examination.

Investigating in order to find certainty of their role and whether or not other parties were involved. However, it is said, there are several articles that are strongly suspected of being violated by Major BP, Kopda AS, and Praka J.

"The violations of these three soldiers are violations that have also been explained by the Dirkrimun, Article 404 of the Criminal Code, then Article 56 of the Criminal Code. Then we also give Article 126 of the Criminal Code," he said.

"Furthermore, we also emphasize Article 103 of the Criminal Code," continued Eka.

Meanwhile, the use of the Military Criminal Code or the Criminal Code is because of their status as soldiers of the Indonesian Army.
