New Kia Sonet And New Seltos Mejeng On IIMS, Modern SUVs Suitable For Dynamic Consumers

JAKARTA - PT Kredese Indo Artha (KIA) brought various line-up cars at the IIMS 2025 event, including two flagship SUVs, namely New Kia Sonet and New Kia Seltos.

Both products come with their own charm to lure young consumers, who want a mobility partner to support an active and dynamic lifestyle.

Sales Head of PT Cretaceous Indo Artha Andri Gunawan, said Kia saw that SUV vehicles still have an attraction and become the most popular car by the Indonesian people. For this reason, Kia also brought two of its mainstay models to this annual exhibition.

"We hope that New Kia Sonet and New Kia Seltos can be an option for customers who want a tough, modern, and comfortable SUV to drive on various road conditions," he said, in a statement to the media, Thursday, February 20.

Closer to New Kia Sonet, this car comes in two variants, namely Ultimate and Premiere. Both have increasingly modern and dynamic exterior designs, making them more prominent in the subcompact SUV class. The front of this car carries New Tiger Nose Grille and New LED Headlamp accompanied by DRL Star Map Lamp and LED Fog Lamp, providing an aggressive and futuristic look.

Entering the cabin, New Kia Sonet is designed to provide comfort through a variety of modern features for its users. This SUV has a New Air Vent Design with Black High Gloss, New Center Panel Design, and Wireless Charging and USB-C Charging Port features. This model is also equipped with complete safety features, some of which are Parking Distance Warning, ABS, ESC, to Hill Hold Control. Regarding the heart of the runway, New Kia Sonet is powered by a 1,500 cc engine with a maximum power of 115 ps combined with 8-speed IVT transmission.

Meanwhile, New Kia Seltos is available in 2 variant options, namely New Kia Seltos Premiere 1.5 Turbo which combines turbo engines and 7-speed DCT transmission for consumers who prioritize driving performance and New Kia Seltos Premiere 1.5 with 8-speed IVT transmission that offers fuel efficiency. Especially for the 1.5 Turbo variant, this product is equipped with an ADAS active safety feature that is able to reduce unwanted risks when driving.
