Allegedly Suicide, Woman In Sukabumi Killed By Pangrango KRD

SUKABUMI - Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) personnel from Sukabumi Regency helped evacuate the body of a woman who died at the Pangrango diesel train crossing (KRD) heading for Bogor-Sukabumi, precisely at the Cibadak-Ci Street Petak when KM 43+500, Sukabumi Regency, West Java.

"After receiving information on the victim of a KRD accident, we immediately headed to the scene with an ambulance and body bag to evacuate the victim's body at the train crossing in Cimahi Village, Cicantayan District," said PMI Health Service Staff Sukabumi Regency Aris Munandar as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, January 9.

According to Aris, his party deployed four personnel to help the police evacuate the woman's body in a pathetic condition after being hit and hit by the Pangrango KRD who came from Bogor to Sukabumi.

The unidentified woman's body was then evacuated to Sekarwangi Hospital for a post-mortem and further handling from the police.

"When the victim's body was evacuated, the victim's body was in the middle of the rail," he added.

Meanwhile, Public Relations Manager of PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta Ixfan Hendriwintoko said the woman who died on the KRD Pangrango Bogor-Sukabumi route was around 30-40 years old and had no identity

The victim allegedly deliberately ended his life by crashing into the crossing KRD. This was discovered after information from the driver who had honked the locomotive horn many times, but was ignored by the victim.

For the handling of this alleged suicide case, PT KAI Daops I Jakarta has fully handed over to the police.

However, what is clear is that his party has implemented standard operating procedures (SOP) such as the driver who honks repeatedly so that the victim leaves the crossing route, but the warning was ignored by the victim who allegedly wanted to end his life.
