Children Of Riau DPRD Members Become Suspects Of Persecution Detained By Pekanbaru Police

RIAU - Pekanbaru Police detained the child of a Riau DPRD member with the initials D (22) after being named a suspect in the persecution.

"After an examination, D was detained for further investigation," said Head of the Pekanbaru Police Satreskrim, Kompol Bery Juana Putra when confirmed, Tuesday, January 9, confiscated by Antara.

Apart from D, two of his colleagues with the initials GRP and R are also suspects. The GRP is said to be the son of one of the deceased police officers.

"Two suspects with the initials GRP and R are still being searched," he continued.

Previously, the Pekanbaru Police Satreskrim named a man with the initials D as a suspect on suspicion of abuse. The incident allegedly occurred on Tuesday, October 17, 2023.

His party is still trying to finalize the case under Article 170 of the Criminal Code. As for the cause of the alleged abuse, it cannot be concluded.

The case occurred in front of the Hollywod Hotel, Jalan Strongan Raya, Limapuluh District.

"The abuse is article 170, together, three people. Use your bare hands," he said.

It is known that this case began when victim Y met his friend E at the New Hollywood Hotel, Jalan Kuantan, Limapuluh District on October 17, 2023. Victim Y saw suspect DA attaching E's neck with his arm.

Y also saw DA carrying a elbow on the waist of his pants. When Y wanted to release E, DA and colleagues, GRP and H actually slashed him. Victim Y was rushed to Bhayangkara Hospital Pekanbaru.
