The General Election Commission (KPU) released the initial report of campaign funds (LADK) for political parties and candidates for legislative members participating in the 2024 General Election.

However, it turns out that all political parties participating in the 2024 General Election and the candidates are incomplete and not yet appropriate. In fact, the deadline for submitting LADK is on January 7, 2024.

"Submission of the LADK political party participating in the 2024 General Election and candidates for legislative members must be submitted by political parties participating in the General Election to the KPU at the latest level 14 days before the first day of the schedule for the Election Campaign in the form of a general meeting no later than 23.59 local time, namely January 7, 2024," said KPU Commissioner Idham Holik in his statement, Tuesday, January 9.

Parties are known to convey LADK to the KPU, Provincial KPU, Regency/City KPU through the Campaign Information System and Campaign Fund (Sikadeka).

After receiving the LADK Political Party Participants in the 2024 Election, the KPU carried out a search for complete documents and information coverage of LADK.

Given that the status of the LADK of all political parties is incomplete and not yet appropriate, the KPU provides an opportunity for improvement.

"If the results of the funeral show that the documents are declared incomplete and the scope of the information is not appropriate, then the LADK political party participating in the election will be returned for repairs for 5 days since receiving the return sign and the report on the results of the funeral from the Indonesian KPU, no later than 23.59 local time," explained Idham.

In the implementation of the election, the KPU requires election participants to record campaign funding. The recording report consists of 3 types, namely LADK, campaign fund donor reports (LPSDK), and campaign fund receipt and expenditure reports (LPPDK).
