A Gang Of Fake Car Sellers From Pati Was Swept Away By The Central Java Police

Central Java Police revealed a gang of car sellers without legal or fraudulent documents who are members of a community called "Lengek Squad" located in Pati Regency, Central Java. Central Java Police Chief Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi said the fake cars that were traded were the result of a fiducial crime. "These perpetrators bought cars in West Java, East Java, Banten, then collected in Pati," he said. The "Lengek Squad" community itself has about 30 members.

The criminal acts committed by the gang have been carried out since 2017. For their actions, the suspects were charged with Article 481 and or 480 of the Criminal Code concerning collectors of stolen goods.
