Know Men Through Michat, High School Students In Bekasi Forced To Serve Men With Nostrils

BEKASI - A boy with the initials A (15) is suspected of being a victim of Trafficking in Persons committed by three perpetrators in the Pondok Gede area, Bekasi City.

Chairman of the National Commission for Child Protection (Komnas PA), Lia Latifah, said that her party received a complaint from a missing girl in October 2023. However, 2 days after being reported, the victim returned home.

"It turned out that after 2 days of his father's report. He (the victim) went home by himself. Then the child was escorted to Komnas PA," said Lia when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, January 9.

Arriving at Komnas, continued Lia, there was a face of fear for the victim. This made Komnas PA suspicious. Komnas PA also took an approach, communicating persuasively.

As a result, A admitted that he had met the perpetrator with the initials D through the Michat application. Then the perpetrator offers a job that promises a big salary.

The victim, who had just entered 10th grade in high school, was interested in the offer. Then the perpetrator took the victim to his rented house in the Pondok Gede area, Bekasi City, West Java.

"Then at that time, it turned out that he was told to take pictures in rented houses with the clothes that had been prepared with the boy. Then it turned out that the photo was distributed through Michat's application to be made a BO (Boking Order) girl," he said.

After the distribution came the first customer, so shocked he was a child. Then he couldn't go anywhere. Finally he was asked to serve the beginning of one man. After that, it turned out that there was more like that," he continued.

The trade action lasted for two weeks. However, the victim was only given Rp. 150,000. The victim, who admitted that he was annoyed, could not do much. Moreover, he was not allowed to leave the job.

No sense was lost, the victim reasoned that he wanted to take clothes at his house. The opportunity he used to escape from the rented house.

After that this kid tried to lie to this guy, wanted to take clothes to his house. That's where he ran away from the house. So that's the beginning of uncovering this case," he said.
