Deputy TKN Habiburokhman: Prabowo Will Present Great Ideas In The Third Debate

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the Habiburokhman National Campaign Team (TKN) confirmed that Prabowo Subianto would convey big ideas and ideas in the debate of the third presidential candidate with the theme of defense, security, and geopolitical. "Prabowo really understands issues such as international geopolitical defense and others, and he will present big ideas in the debate," Habiburokhman was quoted as saying by ANTARA, Saturday, January 6.

According to him, these big ideas came from decades Prabowo devoted himself to the country in the military world.

Habiburrokhman explained that the recent global political situation was colored by uncertain situations due to the occurrence of several conflicts.

Under these conditions, Prabowo-Gibran has proposed strengthening military posture as one of the main ideas in their political ideas.

On the one hand, Prabowo will build a strong foreign policy so that it can accompany the strengthening of military forces that are being built.

"So that Indonesia can overcome geopolitical uncertainties that may emerge in the future," he said.

With this vision, Habiburokhman believes Prabowo-Gibran will provide a straightforward explanation of the defense strategy in the debate later.

The debate of the three presidential and vice presidential candidates will be held at Istora Senayan, Central Jakarta, Sunday, January 7.

The theme of the debate is Defense, Security, International Relations, and Geopoliticals.

On Monday, November 13, 2023, the Indonesian General Election Commission (KPU) determined three pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates to participate in the 2024 Presidential and Vice Presidential Elections (Pilpres).

The results of the draw and determination of the number of participants for the 2024 presidential election on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, the pair Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md. serial number 3.

The KPU has also set a campaign period from November 28, 2023 to February 10, 2024, then the voting schedule for Wednesday, February 14, 2024.
