Alvin Lim Tuding Ferdy Sambo Tak Ditahan Di Lapas Salemba, Kalapas: 'Ngawur'

JAKARTA - After being released from the Class I Cipinang Prison in East Jakarta, Alvin Lim's lawyer again made a scene through his statement. In a video of Alvin Lim's conversation with Dr Richard Lee, as viral on Instagram social media, Alvin said that Ferdy Sambo was never in a prison cell while serving his sentence there.

Alvin Lim made this accusation when he was invited on the dr podcast. Richard Lee who aired on YouTube on Wednesday, January 3, 2023.

"Sambo said he was in Salemba Prison, right? He was never detained in Salemba Prison, sir. His name was only there," said Alvin Lim.

Alvin Lim stated that Ferdy Sambo actually sleeps in the KPLP (Power Security Unit) office with a conditioning facility. Only the name Ferdy Sambo is in Salemba Prison," said Alvin Lim in the video.

"I am free in Salemba Prison. I want to go anywhere, no one dares to reprimand. That sambo never sleeps in prison. (he sleeps) at the KPLP office, above. The room building has an AC. His name is only there," said Alvin Lim to dr. Richard.

Responding to the allegations, the Head of the DKI Jakarta Correctional Division, Tony Nainggolan, denied that the information circulating was not true.

"All of that is not true. Just go to the Salemba Kalapas," he briefly told VOI, Thursday, January 4, afternoon.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Class IIA Salemba Penitentiary, Beni Hidayat, also denied Alvin Lim's statement in a Podcast video on the Youtube channel of Dr Richard Lie who said that there was a special treatment for Ferdy Sambo bin William Sambo who had never been detained in Salemba Prison.

"The statement is clearly not true. As a Binaan resident, Ferdy Sambo bin William Sambo has never been detained at the Salemba Prison. The person concerned is serving a sentence at the Salemba Prison and has undergone an environmental introduction period (Mapenaling) from August 24, 2023 to August 29, 2023," Beni told VOI, Thursday, January 4.

Furthermore, continued Beni, Ferdy Sambo was transferred to Cibinong Class IIA Prison, based on the Letter of the Head of Class IIA Salemba Prison on August 29, 2023 Number W10.PAS.PAS3.PK.05.05-6314 regarding the transfer of 3 inmates to Cibinong Class IIA Prison.

"We regret the accusation that Sambo slept in the KPLP room while serving a sentence at the Salemba Prison because it was a false accusation," he said.

Beni explained, as a resident of Binaan, Ferdy Sambo was placed in the residential block of the Saroso Pavilion, 23/Type 1 Room.

"We also have all the documentation," he said.
