Accused Of Thief 2 Packs Of Cigarettes, Barbershop Employee In Demak Dies Persecuted By 4 Friends

The Demak Resort Police (Polres) arrested 4 people suspected of being involved in the persecution of a barbershop employee with the initials MAN (22) to death.

"The four perpetrators, namely the initials S (20), N (22), I (27), and A (19) who are residents of Morodemak Village, Bonang District, Demak," said Demak Deputy Police Chief Kompol Aldino Agus Anggoro in Demak, Central Java (Central Java), Wednesday, January 3, confiscated by Antara.

He revealed that the perpetrators of the persecution that led to the death were friends of the victim himself.

As for the chronology of the incident, it started on Saturday, December 30, at around 21.00 WIB at the victim's workplace on Jalan Pemuda, Bintoro Village, Demak Regency.

"The persecution started with the victim who was considered to have taken 2 packs of cigarettes and Rp. 20,000 belonging to one of the perpetrators," he said.

Previously, he continued, the perpetrator with the initials I contacted the other perpetrators to meet the victim and asked for an explanation from him.

However, the victim did not feel that he had taken the money he was suspected of. Furthermore, the victim had good intentions by giving Rp. 40,000 to the perpetrators.

After getting the money, the perpetrators bought liquor (alcohol) to drink together with the victim in front of the barbershop until early morning.

"At 02.00 WIB, Sunday (December 31) the perpetrators brought up the victim's problems again until there was persecution. The perpetrators kicked the chest and hit the victim's head until he was unconscious," he said.

Knowing that the victim was weak, then the perpetrators took the victim to Simpang Six Demak Square with the aim of being accompanied so that the victim could wake up.

After knowing that the victim was still weak, there was no progress, then the perpetrator took him back to the barbershop and placed the victim in a shampooed chair.

"Perpetrators I and A then checked the victim's pulse in the neck and it was found that it was not moving. Knowing the victim had died. Then the perpetrators left the victim at the scene," he said.

The perpetrators were scared after seeing the victim was dead so they hid in several different places.

The Demak Police, who received the criminal report, then conducted an investigation and the four perpetrators were finally arrested.

For their actions, the perpetrators were charged with Article 170 paragraph (2) of the 3rd Criminal Code and or 351 paragraph (3) of the Criminal Code with a maximum sentence of 12 years in prison.
