BOYOLALI - A number of trees fell due to heavy rains accompanied by strong winds in the Banyudono District, Boyolali Regency, Central Java.

Rain accompanied by strong winds in Ketaon Village, Banyudono Boyolali District caused trees to collapse and cross the road on Solo-Semarang National Road.

A number of volunteers from the Rapid Response Team (TRC) of the Boyolali and TNI Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) came to the location at around 13.20 WIB to evacuate fallen trees.

According to Devi Listiani, a local resident, the branch of the trambesi tree fell and crossed over on Jalan Solo-Semarang.

A fallen tree also occurred in Dukuh Village, Banyudono District, Boyolali, due to rain and strong winds. The incident did not cause any casualties.
