JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya will write to criminal law expert, Romli Atmasasmita, to ensure his willingness to be a witness to lighten or a de charge for the former chairman of the KPK, Firli Bahuri.
Originally, Romli Atmasasmita was one of three mitigating witnesses proposed by Firli Bahuri's camp in the alleged extortion case against the former Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo.
"Later, we will make a recall to the person concerned and please respond to the investigator's summons by making a reply to the investigator for the summons," said Director of Special Criminal Investigation at the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak, to reporters, Wednesday, January 3.
