JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional Personnel Agency (BKD) recorded that 5.27 percent of civil servants (PNS) within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government did not come to work after the weekend and New Year 2024 holidays. Head of the DKI Jakarta BKD, Maria Qibtya, said that this was based on attendance data that was running normally as usual. "The level of presence of Civil Servants of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government today is 94.31 percent present and 5.27 percent not present. The details are 3.62 percent not present with valid information such as annual leave, maternity leave, important reasons leave, sick leave and others, and 1.65 percent are in the process of verification with relevant regional officials," Maria told reporters, Wednesday, January 3. A total of 1.65 civil servants who skip work without this information, it is certain that Maria will be sanctioned. This is stated in Government Regulation Number 94 of 2021 concerning Civil Servant Discipline. The stage carried out is the first examination by his direct superior, and if found guilty, he will be subject to disciplinary sanctions. "We have been monitoring the presence of employees since Friday, December 29, 2023, to ensure the presence of employees as well as carrying out their duties properly. BKD guarantees official and service duties will continue because each regional apparatus is responsible for its respective duties and functions," added Maria. Meanwhile, the work unit of regional apparatus that has the task and function of service to the community continues to carry out its duties to provide services to the community.

Until now, Maria emphasized that BKD had not received any reports regarding service constraints from the community on the first day of entry after the New Year holiday. "The compliance with regulations is expected to create a conducive work environment," he concluded.
