Israeli Fighter Jets Attack Palestinian Red Crescent Building

JAKARTA - Israeli fighter jets attacked and hit the eighth floor of the Palestinian Red Crescent Community building in Khan Younis City, southern Gaza and caused several casualties.

"Several people were killed and injured in the attack targeting our building in Khan Younis," the humanitarian organization said without mentioning the figures reported by ANTARA from Anadolu, Tuesday, January 2.

Hundreds of Palestinian refugees took refuge in the building amid Israeli intense attacks on the city.

Israeli jets also hit the same floor last week and injured several Palestinian refugees.

Israel has launched air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip in retaliation for the attacks of the Palestinian resistance group Hamasdi Israel on October 7.

It was recorded that 22,185 Palestinians had been killed and 57,035 others injured, according to Gaza's health authorities, while nearly 1,200 Israelis were believed to have died in the Hamasitu attack.

A wave of Israeli attacks has caused destruction in Gaza, where 60 percent of infrastructure is damaged or destroyed, and nearly 2 million of its population displaced amid food shortages, clean water, and medicines.
