New Year's Holiday 2024, Ragunan Visited 96,111 People

JAKARTA - Ragunan Wildlife Park is an option for DKI Jakarta residents and from other areas to fill the 2024 New Year holiday. Today is the peak of the number of visitors to Ragunan during the 2023 Christmas and 2024 New Year holidays.

The manager of the Ragunan Wildlife Park at Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, noted that as of Monday at 16.00 WIB the number of visitors reached 96,111 people on the New Year 2024 holiday. "Visitors who bought it offline were 90,689 and those who registered online were 5,422 for today," said Ragunan Wildlife Park Service and Public Relations (Humas) Staff Wahyudi Bambang in Jakarta.

That number of visitors drove 13,917 two-wheeled vehicles, 5,091 four-wheeled, 31 buses and 81 bicycles. "Today's possibility is peak. On the 24th (December 2023) yesterday there were more than 92 thousand," he said.

Wahyudi also apologized for the density that occurred at the entrance of Ragunan because of the high interest of people who want to visit this tour. "Every new year, we will definitely be flooded with visitors," he said.

His party has taken anticipatory steps with fairly thorough preparation such as parking attendant engineering. "However, because the volume of arrivals of visitors is extraordinary, of course we ask for understanding," he said. Wahyudi also explained that for Tuesday, January 2, Ragunan Wildlife Park will have a day off. "On January 2, it was informed that we were on an animal holiday. So after a week yesterday we didn't have an animal holiday because it was a long holiday, tomorrow it will be closed to visitors," he said.
