Presidential candidate (candidate) number 3, Ganjar Pranowo is committed to initiating the free vocational high school or vocational school program for families unable to reach the national level.

These efforts are to alleviate poverty and improve the quality of human resources (HR) in Indonesia.

Previously, Ganjar had run a similar program through SMKN Central Java (Central Java) while serving as Governor of Central Java.

"So, after we see the practices that have been running at SMKN Central Java for poor families and they can immediately work, Ganjar-Mahfud wants us to develop the program nationally," said Ganjar after attending the "Free Vocational School Launching Immediately Work for the Poor Family" at Pule Field, Wonogiri Regency, Central Java, Friday, December 29, confiscated by Antara.

According to him, if the program starts in every district/city in Indonesia, this step can systematically alleviate poverty and improve the quality of domestic human resources.

"If we start the first year in every district/city that can absorb poor families, God willing, this will be a program that can systematically eradicate poverty and improve the quality of our human resources," he said.

Ganjar explained that he would make the program a priority because job opportunities are still needed by the younger generation. In addition, the realization of the program is not impossible because it has been practiced before.

"If we can design it from the beginning of education, we can continue to meet directly with the industry, being hybridized by the government, then free vocational schools immediately work is not an impossible story because they have been practiced," he said.

His party has taken into account the budget that will be disbursed for the program, which is around Rp. 50 trillion. Later in each district/city there will be at least one free SMK.

"We can convert, if we don't make new ones. We convert several SMKs to be used as free vocational schools for poor families with only one policy, which is converted into completion so that in terms of budget it is not too expensive and I think this is much more useful," he concluded.
