Prevent Terrorism In 2024, BNPT Will Evaluate Education For High-Risk Employees

JAKARTA - The National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT) plans seven priority programs to prevent acts of terrorism in 2024.

Head of BNPT Rycko Amelza Dahniel said one of his programs contained an evaluation of education for employees with high-risk duties.

"BNPT is preparing seven priority programs in 2024, one of which is an employee assessment with a high risk task," he said when delivering an online release at the end of the year of BNPT, Friday, December 29, which was confiscated by Antara.

Evaluation of education or assessment of employees with high risk duties at all levels of office to reach the lowest level. This is to ensure that no more employees are affiliated with terrorism as happened in one of the companies with red plates some time ago.

Other programs that are also a priority, said Rycko, are reintegration and education programs for deradicalization partners and their families.

The program's target in 2024, he continued, also provides a deradicalization program to the survivors' families.

In addition, empowerment for women, children, and adolescents, construction of peaceful alert villages, formation of peaceful schools, national campuses, and fulfillment of the rights of survivors of terrorism.

BNPT will also increase awareness of acts of terrorism in various lines of society, considering that in 2024 it will become a political year so that it is vulnerable to being infiltrated by radical groups.
