Youth Killed In Ceramic Breaks Are Perpetrators And Victims Of Brawl In Senen

The Central Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) explained that Fery Noviardi alias Aing (41), a resident of Jalan Kramat Pulo, Kramat Village who died as a result of being stuck with ceramic shards, was one of the perpetrators as well as a victim of a brawl.

Fery came from the 'Kebon' group. Meanwhile, the brawl involved two groups, namely the Ledeng group and the Kebon group.

"The brawl between the two groups occurred because of a provocation carried out by the suspect with the initials CD led by the Ledeng group. They made an appointment through social media with an IG account called Powerrangerso_kuran," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro to reporters, Friday, December 29.

Then the brawl between the two groups of Ledeng and the Kebon group broke out on Jalan Kramat Pulo Dalam II, Kramat Village, Senen District, Central Jakarta.

From the results of the examination and search of CCTV footage at the scene and video recordings from residents, the police managed to secure 7 adult suspects and 2 minors. They come from two groups.

A total of 9 suspects had the initials CD (18), UA (40), MI (39), MIS (29), AF (29), MIH (23), DA (39), AM (17) and MSA (14). They have different roles.

From the information of the CD suspect, the leader of the Ledeng group, the main actor who caused Fery Noviardi alias Aing to die, was the suspect FM (DPO).

Kombes Susatyo explained that this area had not been a brawl for a long time. However, this brawl occurred after a post on social media that read 'it hasn't been a brawl' for a long time.

"This means that there have been seeds of hostility between the Ledeng group and the Kebon group. Then it becomes a means to jointly prepare for a brawl," he said.

For this incident, the perpetrators are threatened with Article 170 of the Criminal Code regarding violence against people and Article 358 of the Criminal Code related to attacks. They face 7 years in prison.

Fery Noviardi alias Aing (41), a resident of Jalan Kramat Pulo, Kramat Village, was found dead by a mob on Jalan Kramat Pulo Dalam II, Kramat Village, Senen District, Central Jakarta.

Victim Aing died because he was bleeding due to being stuck in a broken glass.

"FN was torn in the left neck due to being stuck with ceramic shards," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro to reporters, Friday, December 29.
