The security unit of the Borobudur Temple Tourism Park in Magelang Regency, Central Java, is now wearing a Javanese uniform.

"In welcoming Christmas 2023 and New Year's 2024, our security officers wore a new Javanese uniform," said General Manager of the Borobudur Unit Jamaludin Mawardi in Magelang as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, December 28.

According to him, Borobudur is a cultural destination. This culture can be represented in daily operational management activities.

Because of that, he said, one of them was how the uniform of this security member was made not to seem sad.

"We make it using different ones, even the naming doesn't have to be with security guards, security, but we have the term "pamong badra", he said.

Mawardi said that since last year, the use of the badra has actually been launched, but it is not familiar.

"This is a security and order guard in Borobudur. We will continue to do it continuously because maybe we are still limited to uniform, we will slowly fulfill this so that in general people will see that security Borobudur is now not a security guard anymore, his name is Pamong Badra," he said.
