The Basement Of Serpong Gading Apartments was submerged in water

TANGERANG A puddle of water in the basement of the Serpong Garden Apartment, Cisauk, Tangerang Regency made 50 cars parked, submerged up to one meter.

"Vehicles affected above 50 vehicles. The height is still 100 centimeters," said Head of BPBD Tangerang Regency, Ujat Sudrajat Thursday, December 28.

Ujat admitted that it was still difficult for his party to suck water in the apartment celebration. Because the area is quite wide.

He said there were 2 large water pumps and 2 small water pumps and one fire engine unit deployed to speed up the flood management.

"The area is quite wide, plus the water volume is high, water from outside is still a little incoming," he said.

Regarding the broken embankment, the local BPBD has made a temporary embankment using sand to prevent similar incidents.

"From our side, we are being handled with sand as well. From the BPBD, there is no capacity to repair it," he concluded.

Previously, heavy rain in the Tangerang Regency area caused the basement of the Serpong Garden Apartment, Cisauk, Tangerang Regency to be submerged in water.

Head of BPBD Tangerang Regency, Ujat Sudrajat, said the incident began when heavy rain hit the Cisauk area, Tangerang Regency, since Wednesday, December 27.

So that water overflow occurred which caused the embankment near the Serpong Garden Apartment to burst. As a result, the inn basement was flooded with a height of 110 centimeters.

"As a result of overflowing river water around the Serpong Garden Apartment, the embankment burst and submerged the basement parking lot of the car and motorbike at 16:30 WIB with a water level of approximately 110 cm," Ujat said when confirmed, Thursday, December 28.
