Mayor Calls Depok A Home For Cultural Diversity And Citizens' Confidence

Mayor of Depok Mohammad Idris said the city is home to all people, cities that oversee the cultural diversity and beliefs of Depok residents.

"Through Christmas and New Year 2024, let us make it not only a ceremonial celebration, but as a symbol of tolerance and harmony," said Mohammad Idris, quoted by Antara, Tuesday.

He emphasized that tolerance is not just a beautiful word, but is also a real action in society.

"As a resident of Depok, we show that diversity is our strength. The Depok that we are proud of is the different mosaics of culture, beliefs and backgrounds, but we unite in harmony and respect each other," he said.

Idris believes and believes that with the spirit of tolerance and harmony, Depok City will continue to develop into a better, more inclusive and more prosperous city, towards a Civil City.
