Be Alert, BMKG Forecasts East Jakarta Rain Accompanied By Wind At Night

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), Tuesday, predicts rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds will hit the East Jakarta area at night.

Quoting Antara, based on data released from the official BMKG website, in the morning the weather in the areas of Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands is expected to be cloudy. Meanwhile, the areas of West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta are cloudy.

Entering the afternoon, light rain will wet the areas of South Jakarta and East Jakarta. West Jakarta and Central Jakarta are cloudy, while North Jakarta and the Thousand Islands are cloudy.

BMKG warns that the potential for rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds of short duration can occur in parts of East Jakarta at night.

Rain will also flush West Jakarta and South Jakarta but with light intensity. Meanwhile, Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands are predicted to be cloudy.

Sunny cloudy weather is predicted to cover the areas of West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, East Jakarta, North Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands on Wednesday (27/12) early morning.

The air temperature in Jakarta and the Thousand Islands is generally between 24 and 32 degrees Celsius, with humidity between 65 and 100 percent.
