Facing The Age Of Information Technology, Army Chief Of Staff Asks For An Adaptive Kowad

JAKARTA - Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General TNI Maruli Simanjuntak requested that all soldiers of the Women's Army Corps (Kowad) be able to adapt and develop their competence, according to their character and abilities.

This message was conveyed by the Army Chief of Staff while attending the Kowad 62nd Anniversary Thanksgiving event at the Kopassus Command Center, Cijantung, East Jakarta (East Java), Friday, December 22.

"Increase knowledge and capability, while still guided by the Sapta Marga, the Soldier's Oath and Sad Satya Sri Sena. Develop competencies that are owned in accordance with the fields of their respective abilities and character through education and training, by following the development of Information Technology, so that they can carry out their duties and functions in the ranks of the Army to the fullest," said the Army Chief of Staff.

The celebration of Kowad's 62nd Anniversary with the theme "Kowad Ready to Guard Democracy for Advanced Indonesia" was marked by the cutting of the cone by the Army Chief of Staff and the General Chairperson (Ketum) Persit Kartika Chandra Kirana (KCK) Paulina Simanjuntak.

In addition to expressing Kowad's 62nd Anniversary to the Kowad extended family, Maruli also emphasized that the momentum of this year's anniversary is the right moment to introspect and evaluate the achievements of tasks that have been carried out so far.

The Army Chief of Staff also emphasized that Kowad can continue to increase the spirit of solidity, based on mutual adaptation, compassion, and parenting, between seniors and juniors, as well as avoiding violations that can harm yourself, family, and even the Indonesian Army institution.

"Always remember, even though women are still military. Even though the military is still a woman. Therefore, continue to increase the spirit of solidity in carrying out its roles and functions, in order to support the main tasks of the Indonesian Army, and avoid violations. Remember, love yourself, your family, and your one.," he said.
