Friday Morning, The Vice President Meets Religious Figures And Attends NU Events In East Java

JAKARTA - Vice President (Vice President) Ma'ruf Amin and Wury Ma'ruf Amin made a working visit to East Java (East Java), Friday, to stay in touch with religious leaders to attend the Nahdlatul Ulama Bachelor Association (ISNU) agenda.

The Vice Presidential Secretariat in Jakarta informed Vice President Ma'ruf Amin departing from the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base (Lanud), East Jakarta, to Juanda International Airport Surabaya at 08.30 WIB using a special aircraft for the Boeing 737-400 Indonesian Air Force presidency,

After a flight of about 1 hour 20 minutes, the Vice President arrived in Surabaya at 09.50 WIB and will be greeted by the Governor of East Java Khofifah Indar Parawansa and the ranks of the East Java Regional Leadership Coordination Forum.

Furthermore, accompanied by the Governor of East Java, the Vice President and his entourage are planned to go to Bangil District, Pasuruan Regency, by car.

In the area, apart from performing Friday prayers at the Jami' Bangil Mosque, the Vice President is scheduled to stay in touch with religious leaders at the residence of Habib Abu Bakar Assegaf, and make a pilgrimage to the tomb of Syarifah Khadijah who is the son of Sultan Syarif Hidayatullah or known as Sunan Gunung Jati, a Muslim figure who has contributed to spreading Islam in Cirebon, West Java.

After the pilgrimage, Vice President Ma'ruf Amin is scheduled to go to the Ar-Rahman rest area of Travoy KM 66A Pandaan-Malang to sign an inscription on the construction of a mosque, namely two mosques in the rest area in Pandaan-Malang, and two mosques in the rest area in Gempol-Pasuruan.

On the second day of the working visit, Saturday (12/23) at 10.00 WIB, the Vice President is scheduled to attend the inauguration and work meeting of the East Java ISNU at the Surabaya State University (UNESA).

Furthermore, at 13.00 WIB the Vice President and his entourage are scheduled to return to Jakarta using the same plane.

Apart from Wury Ma'ruf Amin, accompanying the Vice President on this working visit included the Head of the Secretariat of Vice President Ahmad Erani Yustika, Deputy for Administration Sapto Harjono WS, Special Staff of the Vice President Masduki Baidlowi, Masykuri Abdillah, Robikin Emhas, Zumrotul Mukafta, and Arif Rahmansyah Marbun, as well as the Expert Team of the Vice President Nurdin Tamobolon, Johan Tedja dab Farhat Brachma.
