Six Aceh Jaya TPS Enter The Category Very Prone Because There Is No Telecommunication Access

BANDA ACEH - Aceh Jaya Police Chief AKBP Andy Sumarta said six of the 311 polling stations (TPS) in the local district were categorized as vulnerable because there were no internet and telecommunications access (black spots).

"The results of the TPS mapping are very vulnerable to being in Sampoiniet District. Why do we say they are very vulnerable? Because in the five villages there is no telecommunications network and one TPS in prison," said AKBP Andy Sumartudiansir ANTARA, Thursday, December 21.

AKBP Andy said TPS was vulnerable because of the blank spot, namely in Aluegroe Village, Krueng Noe, Krueng Aion, Masen Teupin Asan Village, and one special polling station for prisons.

Although vulnerable to the absence of internet access, his party still guarantees security in the implementation of the 2024 General Election in the region, especially during the D-Day of the vote.

"We will prioritize the security of the TPS-TPS which is included in the blank spot area for the smooth running of the election later," he said.

In addition to prioritizing voting, his party is also committed to maintaining the safety of the distribution of election logistics during the election later.

In securing the election, the Aceh Jaya Police deployed 170 personnel assisted by 22 members of the Aceh Police Mobile Brigade, TNI personnel, and local governments, in this case linmas.

"I hope that all parties will jointly maintain the security of the 2024 General Election," said AKBP Andy Sumarta.
