East Java Police Clarify Prabowo-Gibran Billboards At Mojokerto Police Post, Not Installed By Bawaslu

SURABAYA - The East Java Regional Police provided clarification regarding the installation of the Prabowo-Gibran billboard in Mojokerto.

The Head of Public Relations of the East Java Police, Kombes Dirmanto, apologized for the mistakes of the East Java Police Bidhumas account admin in response to the @murtadhaOne1 account.

Previously, the admin of the account wrote "Hello, friend, humas, thank you for the information, for the case that the Mojokerto Police Chief has clarified that the installation of billboards for the candidate pair was carried out by Bawaslu and has been dismantled. Thank you, humas pal."

"We have straightened it out and we apologize to the community, especially the Bawaslu of Mojokerto Regency," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, December 20.

Dirmanto said that his party had made a mistake, it's just that the first answer had already been captured on screen and reposted on social media X.

"I emphasize that the installation of billboards for presidential and vice-presidential candidates at Post 905 Pacing and Pos Pantau Pekuhan Mojokerto was installed by the vendor of the presidential and vice-presidential campaign team and had nothing to do with the police or Bawaslu of Mojokerto Regency," he said.

Dirmanto stated that his party had officially apologized for the upload which was deemed to have harmed the Mojokerto Regency Bawaslu institutionally.
