AKAP Bus At Pulogebang Terminal Again Examined, 3 Buses Found Not Roadworthy

JAKARTA - The implementation of a ramp check or road-worthy test of inter-provincial Intercity Bus (AKAP) vehicles has been carried out again by officers from the DKI Jakarta Transportation Service (Dishub) at Pulogebang Terminal, Cakung District, East Jakarta.

Danru II Pulogebang Integrated Terminal Anwar Mansyur said that there were nine units of this vehicle. However, not completely the bus vehicle passed the feasibility test.

"The number that is like a road is six units, if not, it will be three units, a total of nine units," said Anwar, Wednesday, December 20.

Anwar said vehicles that were not roadworthy were due to several factors. However, not all of the damage factors are the same.

"It's not like walking because the seat belt doesn't work, the emergency door is blocked, and the fire extinguisher (APAR) expires, among others," he said.

Anwar explained that the inspection was carried out in relation to the preparation of the 2023 Christmas and 2024 New Year holidays.

"The check was carried out by Ujung Menteng PKB UP test officers with three personnel," he said.

A number of mass transportation modes, types of Inter-City Inter-Provincial Bus (AKAP) fleets at Kampung Rambutan Terminal, East Jakarta, began to ramp check for the safety of passengers on Tuesday, December 19.

Because, ahead of the Christmas and New Year 2024 holidays, the number of bus passengers is still an idol for the passengers. Until now, bus passengers have started crowding the bus terminal.
