YOGYAKARTA North Maluku Governor Abdul Gani Kasuba is one of the parties arrested by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on Monday, December 18, 2023. He was arrested in connection with a criminal case of corruption in the auction of positions and a project for the procurement of goods and services. Previously, KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement and Institution Ali Fikri said that his party had secured at least 15 people in the OTT. One of them is North Maluku Governor Abdul Gani Kasuba.

Ali said Abdul Gani was arrested at a hotel in South Jakarta. Then there are also other officials.

Currently Abdul Gani is still undergoing examination. Ali said the anti-corruption commission had 1x24 hours after the silent operation was carried out to determine the legal status of the arrested party.
