Ganjar Realizes Wilayu Village In Wonosobo Becomes Durian Tourism Destination If He Wins The 2024 Presidential Election

Presidential candidate (candidate) number 3, Ganjar Pranowo wants Wilayuu Village, Selomerto District, Wonosobo Regency, Central Java (Central Java) to become a tourist destination for durian fans.

Ganjar said his wish could be realized if he and vice presidential candidate Mahfud MD won the 2024 presidential election.

"It's good (it feels), it turns out that there are quite a lot of durians. If we make this a tourist village, children can come here and maybe they can be taught their own pick, because there is a technique earlier. Tied up like that," said Ganjar after enjoying durian in Wilayu Village, Monday, December 18, confiscated by Antara.

The durian variants offered by Wilayu Village are very diverse, ranging from durian milk to butter. In fact, there is a durian tree that is 300 years old.

"Of course people will be able to be given choices, so earlier it was conveyed that there were durians who were hundreds of years old," he said.

The former governor of Central Java did not hesitate to praise the durian taste of the village.

"Earlier we tried one sweet, sweet, sweet seed, but the sweet is not too strong, so it's still comfortable. If I like it which is a little sweet, it's bitter," he added.

In addition, Ganjar also highlighted Wilayuh Village which produces mangosteen fruit.

According to him, these two fruits have the potential to make Wilayuh Village a fruit tourist spot. "This is a proper place for us to recommend that people eat durian here," he concluded.
