JAKARTA - Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Karyoto said 4,041 joint TNI-Polri personnel and the Regional Government (Pemda) were deployed during the Lilin Jaya Operation in securing Christmas 2023 and New Year 2024. Security operations were carried out from 22 December 2023 to 2 January 2024. "The personnel you have prepared are 4,041, consisting of government officials, the National Police, and the TNI," Karyoto told reporters, Monday, December 18.
