Support Net Zero Emission, PLN Jakarta Raya Distributes 244 Million KWh Green Energy

JAKARTA - PT PLN (Persero) Main Distribution Unit (UID) Jakarta Raya is committed to channeling green energy through Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) supporting Net Zero Emission 2060.General Manager of PLN Jakarta Raya Distribution Main Unit, Lasiran said, REC PLN is one of PLN's green product innovations to make it easier for customers to gain recognition for internationally recognized New Energy (EBT) use. "Throughout 2023, to be precise until October 2023, PLN UID Jakarta Raya has released 244,442 REC sheets or equivalent to 244,442,000 kWh," Lasiran said in a written statement, Friday, December 15.

According to him, PLN opens opportunities for customers from various groups who want to get a REC to be able to contact PLN. "As a step to realize Indonesia Net Zero Emission in 2060, PLN continues to transform and is committed to distributing green energy to various groups such as households, government, industry, and business," explained Lasiran.
