Reflecting On Central Java, Jokowi Plants Rice To Inaugurate Terminal

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo arrived at the TNI AD Main Base (Lanumad) Ahmad Yani, Semarang City, Central Java, Wednesday, December 13, to make a working visit, starting from planting rice to inaugurating the terminal. Based on information received in Jakarta, using the Indonesian presidential plane-1, President Widodo arrived in Semarang at around 07.35 WIB. At Ahmad Yani Air Base, President Jokowi was greeted by Pj. Central Java Governor Nana Sudjana, Pangdam IV/Diponegoro Major General TNI Widi Prasetijono, Central Java Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Ahmad Luthfi, and Lanumad Commander Ahmad Yani Colonel Cpn Ikhwan Okti Riyadi. From Semarang, President Jokowi went straight to Pekalongan Regency to review rice planting in Kesesi District. After that, President Jokowi will head to the Pekalongan District Square to attend Farmers and Agricultural Extension events throughout Central Java. Furthermore, the Head of the State is scheduled to review the facilities and learning process at SMKN 1 Kedungwuni. In the afternoon, the President will go to the Pekalongan Post Office to hand over direct assistance to the people affected by El Nino. The next Presidential agenda is to the Pekalongan Regency Bulog Warehouse to review rice stocks in the warehouse as well as provide food assistance to beneficiary communities.

From Pekalongan, President Jokowi will move to Salatiga City to inaugurate the Tingkir Terminal along with two other terminals, namely Paya Ilang Takengon Terminal in Central Aceh Regency, and Aak Air Terminal in Padang City.Turut accompanied President Jokowi on a flight to Central Java Province, namely the Minister of Investment/Head of BKPM Bahlil Lahadalia, Presidential Military Secretary Major General Rudy Saladin, and Paspampres Commander Meelepn Brigadier General Achiruddin.
