Firli Bahuri Twice Received Billions Of Money From Kombes Irwan Anwar

JAKARTA - The head of the inactive Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Firli Bahuri, twice received money from the Semarang Police Chief, Kombes Irwan Anwar, regarding the handling of legal problems at the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan) for the period 2020 to 2023.

The two receipts of the money were revealed based on information from the Metro Jaya Police Legal Division (Bidkum) team when reading out the legal facts in the trial of the pretrial lawsuit filed by Firli Bahuri at the South Jakarta District Court.

Kombes Irwan Anwar's first handover was valued at IDR 1 billion on June 6 or June 13, 2021. The money was given by the inactive Director of Agricultural Equipment and Machinery (Alsintan) of the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan), Muhammad Hatta.

After receiving the money, Kombes Irwan Anwar met Firli Bahuri. The location is in one of the landslides located in the Police Science College or STIK - PTIK area.

There, Kombes Irwan Anwar handed over Rp1 billion in cash which was stored in a bag to Firli Bahuri

"On the same day there was a meeting between Irwan Anwar's brother and the applicant at one of the houses located next to the PTIK tennis court in South Jakarta," he said.

"At that time, brother Irwan Anwar handed over a bag containing money to the applicant," he continued.

Then, the second handover took place at Firli Bahuri's house at Perum Gardenia Villa Galaxy A2 Number 60 Bekasi City.

At that time, Kombes Irwan Anwar came to the house of the inactive KPK chairman in May 2022. That's when there was a handover of Rp1 billion.

"During the meeting, Irwan Anwar handed over a hand bag containing Rp1 billion to the applicant (Firli Bahuri)," he said.
