65 PLN Jakarta Raya Officers Alerted To Guard The Electricity Debat Of The 2023 Presidential Candidate

JAKARTA - In the context of the 2024 General Election Vice Presidential Candidate debate at the Jakarta KPU building, PLN Jakarta Raya Distribution Main Unit alerted 65 personnel in charge of guarding electricity for the smooth running of the event.

General Manager of PLN Jakarta Distribution Main Unit, Lasiran said the officers on standby were a combination of various elements, namely the Menteng Customer Service Implementation Unit, the Jakarta Distribution Regulatory Implementation Unit, and the Main Office at PLN Main Distribution Unit Jakarta Raya.

"The number of 65 personnel is only on standby during the debate at the KPU, but for preparation there are far more personnel involved," said Lasiran.

PLN predicts the electricity load used is 60% of the 1000-kilo Volt Ampere (kVA) distribution transform capacity that has been prepared. However, PLN prepared a mobile distribution transform of 1000 kVA as an additional power back up.

"In terms of adequacy of power, electricity for the KPU is sufficient, we are still on standby to maintain the reliability of electricity," Lasiran said in Jakarta.
