Preparations For The Al Ganjar Pranowo Debate: Running Sports With Wife

JAKARTA - Presidential candidate number three, Ganjar Pranowo said he had no special preparations for the inaugural debate of the presidential candidate tonight. Ganjar admitted that he only exercised with his wife, Siti Atikoh.

"God willing, God willing, it will be ready (debate, ed). Already exercising. Run with my wife," Ganjar told reporters ahead of the debate at the High End Building, Kebon Sirih, Jakarta.

Ganjar admitted that there was nothing special when he ran. He and his wife only entered the village and greeted the community.

He also emphasized that he had participated in a similar debate while advancing in the Central Java Governor Election. However, Ganjar continued to prepare for the debate by discussing the narrative he would convey.

"Yesterday I communicated, talked with the team to get input from my friends about substance, technicality like that. Happy, God willing, bismillah," he said.

As previously reported, the General Elections Commission (KPU) has announced a schedule for the 2024 presidential election. This activity will be held five times and will take place in Jakarta.

There are five themes that each debate takes place. In the inaugural debate on Tuesday, December 12, the theme will be related to law, human rights (HAM), government, eradication of corruption, and strengthening democracy.

The second debate will be held on December 22, 2023, with the theme defense, security, geopolitical, and international relations.

Next, the third debate will be held on January 7, 2024 with economic themes (congestion and digital), social welfare, investment, trade, taxes (digital), finance, and management of the state budget.

The fourth debate will be held on January 21, 2024, carrying the theme of energy, natural resources (SDA), SMN, carbon taxes, the environment and agrarianism, as well as indigenous peoples.

Finally, the debate was held on February 4, 2024 with the theme of information technology, improving public services, hoaxes, intolerance, education, health (post-COVID Society), and employment.
