Police Say The Murder Of 4 Children In Jagakarsa Has Been Carried Out Since December 3

The rented house in Jagakarsa where the four bodies of the child victims of the murder were found (doc. VOI).

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of South Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Bintoro, said the murder of four children in Jagakarsa had been carried out since December 3, 2023.

The perpetrator, who is also the victim's father, committed the murder by holding him for 15 minutes alternately.

"The confinement is using hands, yes. He was arrested on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at around 13.00-14.00 WIB," Bintoro told reporters, Friday, December 8, 2023.

This case was first discovered by the police from reports of residents who smelled a foul smell in a rented house located in Gang Roman, Jalan Kebagusan Raya, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta, on Wednesday, December 6, 2023.

Then from the results of the case conducted by the South Jakarta Metro Police, the perpetrator named Panca Darmansyah was named a suspect on Friday, December 8, 2023.

"Pada malam hari ini Polres Metro Jakarta Selatan telah melaksanakan gelar perkara dalam rangka penetapan tersangka inisial P dalam kasus pembunuhan empat orang anak yang terjadi Kebagusan Jakarta Selatan," kata Kasat Reskrim Polres Metro AKBP Bintoro kepada wartawan, Jumat, 8 Desember 2023.

The police have obtained 12 witnesses who have been examined by South Jakarta Police investigators.

Officers obtained evidence in the form of cellphones and laptops used by the suspect to record before the incident.

While carrying out the action, the perpetrators killed his four children alternately by holding them captive for 15 minutes.

"Starting first, the youngest child, the victim's child, initials A, is one year old. Followed by the victim's child, initials A, who is also 3 years old. Then the victim's third child is 4 years old. And finally the victim's eldest child is 6 years old," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Metro Police AKBP Bintoro.

The police are still investigating the motive of Panca Darmansyah as the victim's father who has been named a suspect in the murder of four children in Jagakarsa, South Jakarta.
