Pelita Air Passenger Testimony About There Are Jokes Of Bringing Bombs, 5 Hour Delay Aircraft

SURABAYA - Pelita Air IP 205 passengers whose flight was delayed by about five hours from 12.50 WIB to 18.00 WIB because there were passengers joking with the bomb.

As a result of the incident, three passengers were arrested by officers, because they joked about carrying bombs at Juanda International Airport, Surabaya, East Java.

"I saw that there were about three passengers who were secured by officers. As a result of this incident, the flight was delayed by five hours, it should have flown around 12.50 WIB, but only about to fly again at 18.00 WIB," said former Deputy Regent of Blitar, Rahmat Santoso, one of Pelita Air's passengers, when confirmed, Wednesday, December 6.

Rahmat admitted that he did not know for sure when the youths joked about carrying bombs. However, he said, the plane that was ready to fly suddenly stopped at the runway.

Not long after, suddenly there were several officers such as the TNI/Polri getting on the plane, and carrying down three passengers along with their luggage.

"After that, the other passengers were directed back to the waiting room, while the plane was taken off the runway to be checked to ensure its safety," he said.

Rahmat admitted that he was harmed by the incident. He and other passengers had to wait five hours in the boarding room. According to the schedule, the Pelita Air IP 205 plane flew at 12.50 WIB, but was postponed until 18.00 WIB.

"We are now on the same plane, and are about to fly around 18.00 WIB," he said.
