Ganjar Has 2 Strategies To Face Illegal Mining Around IKN Nusantara

Presidential candidate (candidate) number 3 Ganjar Pranowo admitted that he had prepared two strategies to deal with the rise of illegal mining activities around the location of the Nusantara State Capital (IKN).

"Yes, there are two things, the first is good practice mining and the second is law enforcement," said Ganjar in Tenggarong, Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan, Wednesday, December 6, which was confiscated by Antara.

First, he continued, good practices must be carried out and controlled from the relevant ministries, agencies and local governments (Pemda).

Then, second, serious law enforcement is the main key to fighting illegal mining.

"It did come into us, to us, yes, for us then we can clean it up," he said.

According to him, the two strategies were also carried out in order to maintain environmental or natural stability around IKN.

"This is to support IKN activities," concluded Ganjar.

During his visit to Kraton Kutai Kartanegara, Ganjar was greeted by Sultan Kutai Kartanegara Aji Muhammad Arifin and the artists.

Ganjar had the opportunity to participate in withdrawing Kanjar Ganjur which is a legacy from the Sultanate of Kutai Kartanegara Ing Martadipura.

The General Election Commission (KPU) has appointed three pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates as participants in the 2024 presidential election, namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar with serial number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD number 3.

The campaign period has also been scheduled from November 28, 2023 to February 10, 2024, then the voting schedule will be on February 14, 2024.
