3 Teenagers In Bogor Apologize After Slashing Students To Death

The police have indeed arrested the perpetrators of the stabbing of teenagers in Ciampea District to death. Although the perpetrators of AF (18), SG (18), and DD (17) have apologized for their behavior, they did not necessarily get them out of the snares of the law.

Bogor Deputy Police Chief Kompol Fitra Juanda said AF was the main actor in the death of MBS (16) last Friday.

"The perpetrator abused the victim by slashing a sharp sickle-type weapon towards the victim's neck when the victim was coming home from school and riding a motorcycle that resulted in the victim's death," said Fitria, at the Bogor Police Headquarters, Cibinong.

In addition to the three suspects, the police also secured evidence in the form of a sharp sickle, two motorbikes, and the victim's clothes covered in blood.

"The suspect's motive is that the suspect has a grudge against the victim's school because he knows that the perpetrator's school child has been hacked by the victim's school child," explained Fitra.

Furthermore, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bogor Police, AKP Teguh Kumara, explained that the chronology of the incident began two days before the death of MBS.

The three suspects and a group from their school, which numbered about 20 people, planned a sweep to their enemy's school, namely SMK Pelita.

Sweeping was carried out by them with the aim of taking revenge for the actions alleged against his opponent's vocational school which had slashed one of the suspect's friends.

"After that, during the Friday call to prayer, they used 7 motorbikes to sweep and meet the victim, where the perpetrators suspected that this victim was one of the school students who would be swept away by the perpetrators, resulting in a pursuit of the victim," said Teguh.

The victim, who and two of his friends panicked, fled on a motorbike. Unfortunately, the suspects were able to catch up and quickly cut the sickle at the victim's neck until he died.

"For the suspect, we are trapped under Article 80 paragraph 3 of the Child Protection Law, with a penalty of 15 years in prison and in Jo with Article 351 paragraph 3, namely persecution which resulted in the death of a person with a threat of 7 years," he said.
