Presidential candidate (candidate) number three, Ganjar Pranowo said his subordinates had tried to bribe him. He then asked for the money given to be brought home or he was ready to report it to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) as an effort to provide gratuities.

This was conveyed by Ganjar when meeting with the Regional Winning Team (TPD), supporting party candidates, and Ganjar-Mahfud volunteers in Palu City, Central Sulawesi. He admitted that he was surprised that there was such an effort even though it was emphasized that no local officials were allowed to be corrupt.

"Since today there is no more corruption, no more gratification, no more bribery bribes," said Ganjar as quoted from his written statement, Monday, December 4.

"Bung, take this home. Give it to your child's wife, if you don't return it, I will report it to the KPK as gratification," he continued, recounting the incident.

Ganjar said eradicating corruption was not easy. So, he will try to do it if elected with Mahfud MD.

"Corruption must be brushed off," he said.

Ganjar and Mahfud have even agreed to strengthen character education and character insight. Do not let schools only design students to become workers.

If teachers who teach characters have integrity, their students learn to have integrity. When students return to society, they will not be corrupt," he concluded.
