AMIN National Team Asks KPU To Seriously Handle DPT Data Leakage

JAKARTA - The National Team for Winning Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (Timnas AMIN) asked the General Elections Commission (KPU) and law enforcers to seriously handle the leakage of the 2024 general election voter list data (DPT).

"We have to find out who the perpetrator is, we hope that even if it is leaked and it is found out who leaked it must be completed," said AMIN National Team Spokesperson Angga Putra Fidrian as reported by ANTARA, Friday, December 1.

Angga said that the data leak case in Indonesia is like an iceberg phenomenon, so the issue must be handled seriously, both by the KPU, related ministries and law enforcement.

According to him, this case must be thoroughly investigated, especially the perpetrators who leaked it, because the data is very important for the 2024 election to run honestly and fairly.

"The important thing is to investigate first, because it could be that even if it's an institution that holds the data. However, those who leak can also be other parties outside, that's what's important to investigate," he said.

Angga said that the DPT 2024 election data leak was feared to be used by irresponsible parties and used to win one of the candidate pairs.

"Gus Imin said the referee should be the referee, don't be a player," he said.
