Evidence Not Strong, Bareskrim Rejects Jessica's Defender Advocate Report To The Father Of The Late Mirna Salihin

The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police rejected the report submitted by the Advocate Defenders Alliance Team Jessica Wongso against the late Mirna's father, Edi Darmawan Salihin. The evidence presented by the reporter is considered not strong enough. "All the evidence we submitted is considered still not sufficient for the requirements for the LP (Police Report)," said one of the lawyers for the Antoni Silo alliance after submitting a report at Bareskrim Polri, Jakarta, Friday, December 1. However, Antoni admitted that he received directions from the picket officer to make a direct report to the National Police Chief through public complaints (dumas). "Then we do Dumas, after a long consultation we have included it this afternoon through the general secretariat directly to the National Police Chief," he continued. Antoni added that the contents of the Dumas submitted to the National Police Chief were still the same as those reported to the investigators today regarding the suspicion of eliminating evidence by Edi Darmawan Salihin. As previously reported, the Advocate Alliance Team Jessica Wongso reported Edi Darmawan Salihin to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. Edi Darmawan was reported on suspicion of eliminating CCTV evidence. Antoni said Edy Darmawan stated that he did not hold or store CCTV footage from Olivier's Cafe, the location when Mirna was poisoned with cyanide during Jessica's trial. Meanwhile, at the talk show with Karni Ilyas on October 7, 2023, Edi Darmawan said otherwise.
