Mahfud MD Will Campaign In Banten And East Java

JAKARTA - Vice Presidential Candidate Mahfud MD plans to campaign in Banten and East Java this week.

"Tomorrow, yes, this week. So, tomorrow morning to the Mathlaul Anwar Islamic Boarding School, it will be in Banten. Tomorrow is the day after tomorrow, 2 days to East Java," Mahfud said in the Gondangdia area, Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, November 30.

Mahfud explained that the form of campaign when visiting the Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes) Mathlaul Anwar was a gathering.

"Tomorrow I will go to Banten, to the Mathlaul Anwar Islamic Boarding School. Just stay in touch for the form of my campaign. Well, after that, I will go to East Java, to Mataraman," said the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs.

Some areas in East Java that he will visit for 2 days are horseshoe areas or areas located in the eastern part of East Java.

"Tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, 2 days to East Java, to Trenggalek, Jombang, then Situbondo, horseshoe areas," he said.

Previously, on the first day of the campaign period, Tuesday (28/11), Mahfud MD campaigned in Sabang City, Aceh.

In the campaign, Mahfud wanted Koran teachers to be able to advance to class with improving welfare in order to achieve equitable distribution of the quality of national education.

"We have included a flagship program for Aceh, namely the Ngaji Teacher's Superior Program. The program will calculate carefully, providing seriously funds for ustaz," Mahfud said in his remarks at a campaign entitled Ganjar-Mahfud's Quick Action Face at Pasi Jaboi Park, Sukajaya District, Sabang Aceh, Tuesday (28/11).
