Cak Imin Blusukan To Badminton, West Jakarta, Releases 99 Birds

JAKARTA - Vice Presidential Candidate Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin visited thewisted market in the Glodok area, West Jakarta.

"Thank you to me today for visitingkery to witness what is called a growing and developing economic process where traditional markets continue to be maintained in conjunction with maintaining existing traditions in society with Chinese culture," said Cak Imin, quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, November 30.

During his visit, Cak Imin walked along a number of stores in Petak 9, Glodok, West Jakarta and took pictures in front of the gate which was inaugurated by Anies Baswedan last June when he was still the Governor of DKI Jakarta.

Monitoring at the location, Cak Imin then walked through a number of shops in the market as well as greeting traders and listening to the aspirations of the people in Jakarta.

He also revealed that his visit to the market also reminded the public to participate in voting on February 14, 2024.

"We want to support this market to continue to grow and develop as well as I greet the public to remind February to choose AMIN number one," he continued.

He was also seen buying a number of merchandise sold by traders in Petak 9, including the typical milk candy and the Chinese calendar.

After that, he continued to blusukan into the market and asked a number of traders about their sales.

Cak Imin then stopped for a moment at Lao Hoe's restaurant to enjoy the soto tangkar. The deputy chairman of the DPR also released 99 birds as a prayer for AMIN to win in the 2024 presidential election contestation.

"Bismillah AMIN won," he said while releasing the church bird he bought from traders around the market.
