PPP Predicted Not To Pass Parliament, Awiek: Survey Institute Joins Its Own Grave

JAKARTA - The chairman of the PPP DPP Achmad Baidowi responded to the results of a survey that predicted his party not to qualify for Parliament in the 2024 election because it did not meet the requirements of the parliamentary threshold (PT). According to Awiek, survey institutions are currently digging their own graves. "The survey agency is still digging its own grave, because the emergence of new surveys cannot be separated from the setting agenda, but as a statistical figure resulting from the portrait of public aspirations, we respect public perceptions," said Awiek at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, November 29. Awiek said, PPP has always been photographed as not qualifying for Senayan with an electability rate of no more than 4 percent. However, he said, in fact, the Ka'bah Party has continued to hold the seat of the DPR. "But what is clear since the history of this survey institution exists, PPP has never been removed from parliament, but when the PPP election passes to parliament, because PPP is an election participant, PPP is not a survey participant," said the East Java electoral legislator. Awiek believes that PPP votes will be seen in the legislative election (Pileg) on February 14. He said, the party engine will work optimally to increase PPP votes in 2024.

"PPP participated in the election, and PPP did not participate in the survey, that was the difference. Because when the survey was asked by the party, try asking the legislative candidate, tomorrow the legislative candidate will be working, the legislative candidate has been sleeping in people's homes for days, it will make the political pulse run optimally," said Awiek. "We will maximize it within two months to maximize our political performance to increase the PPP vote," he concluded.
