Arsad explained that there are three types of Hajj officers that will be prepared. First, officers who accompany the congregation or known as the PPIH Flying Group (Kloter).
Second, officers who do not accompany prospective pilgrims or called PPIH Saudi Arabia (non-clusters). Third, PPIH support officers.
"This selection process will be held starting at the end of the year and it is hoped that by the beginning of 2024 a list of names will be obtained that will be assigned to the implementation of the 1445 H Hajj pilgrimage," he said.
According to him, the selection process will be carried out with a Computer Assisted Test (CAT) and an interview, in order to find prospective officers with integrity and competence.
Previously, the Ministry of Religion dispatched a accommodation and catering procurement team to start preparing hotels and consumption to welcome the Hajj season of 1445 Hijri/2024 AD.
